Invitation:
I begin every initial lesson interview with the same key questions: "What do you want to learn? What vision of yourself do you wish to achieve at the keys? What sounds move you? Which don't? Do you have a few songs/pieces you'd like to jump into right now? Or would you like a more systematic approach to music, building from the ground up?"
Whatever your answers may be to the above, my purpose as your guide is to get you from where you are to where you want to be in the shortest period of time, by providing you with the background, tools, and shortcuts (trust me, there are plenty!) that are crucial to attaining the level of skill you desire. All the while, our lesson is infused with a contagious passion and love for the greatest instrument of all -- I'm biased...of course! -- providing us a portal into the infinite dimensions of music and art itself.
Whether you have young children ready to be immersed in music for the first time, or you're a more seasoned pianist looking to isolate key areas and get to the next level, I relish the opportunity to work with you and tailor our lessons to meet your goals in the fastest and most effective ways you can -- and can't, just yet -- imagine.
I look forward to learning more on how we can work together to make your vision a reality!
All the best,
Leonard Reina
